These ventilation hoses are used in applications such as air conditioning, ventilation and welding fumes.
The ventilation hoses in this product group can be used to safely transport gaseous media in a temperature range up to +200°C(Master-Clip Spark XL). Some of our ventilation hoses can also be used at higher temperatures. The hoses listed here are ideal for air conditioning and ventilation tasks (supply and exhaust air) or for the removal of welding fumes.

We use film or fabric strips and a clamping profile ("clip") for the production of ventilation hoses, which are used in areas such as ventilation, air conditioning and welding fumes.
Deformation behaviour & recovery behaviour
Individual hoses from the ventilation hose category, such as the Master-Clip PUR S, tolerate mechanical impacts very well, such as compression or kinking. The special hose design ensures that the hose straightens or realigns itself after deformation. These good restoring forces bring advantages wherever there is a risk of mechanical damage to a hose in daily operation.
Materials for the manufacture of clip ventilation hoses
For this product group, we use various types of fabric that differ from one another in terms of their properties. Depending on the substances or gases to be transported, the temperature resistance requirements or the expected mechanical loads, we have a relatively wide range of high-quality technical materials at our disposal.
Materials
We use woven and knitted fabrics made of glass, polyamide, polyester and aramid fibres such as Nomex® or Kevlar®, as well as ceramic materials. For the coating, we use special rubbers such as silicone, Neoprene® and chlorosulfonyl polyethylene rubber (CSM) as well as special elastomers such as Viton®, Nitril® or butyl. Many types of fabric are particularly heat-resistant and can therefore be used in high-temperature applications.
Test standards & functional product properties of the ventilation hose
In terms of dimensions and tolerances, our Master-VENT 2, for example, fulfils the requirements of DIN 13180, as well as in terms of mechanical resistance. This standard specifies requirements and test methods for the technical characteristics of flexible ducts used in ventilation and air conditioning systems in buildings for human occupancy.
